The Shelter Cove Arts and Recreation Foundation (SCARF) was established in 2012, and is a community organization dedicated to promoting arts, recreation, and mindfulness, and aims to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. We have a volunteer board of directors and we welcome your input, ideas, involvement, and volunteer participation.

South Fork High Students Visit The Lost Coast Labyrinth
On Friday June 6th 2025 Shelter Cove Arts and Recreation Foundation (SCARF) had the pleasure of hosting 64 South Fork High School students at the Lost Coast Labyrinth. Nancy Mitchell was present to explain the purpose of the labyrinth and to help students understand the ways in which it can be used. Linda Whitney was a guest speaker who spent time going over different breathing exercises with the students, providing tools for relaxation and contemplation before students entered the Labyrinth. Chris Whitney was there to discuss art in Shelter Cove along with Mark Mitchell, who was there to tell the students about SCARF and its role in our community.

August 30th - 2025 Labor of Love Quilt Show - Save the Date!
The Lost Coast Quilt Guild (LCQG) and SCARF present the 11th Annual Labor of Love Quilt Show on August 30th, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Viewing will begin at the Community Clubhouse, 1555 Upper Pacific Drive, Shelter Cove CA 95589, and continue to outside neighborhood displays.
